Norakuro Nitōhei (Private Norakuro)

Norakuro was the biggest comic character of the 1930s, and this short is essentially a series of drill-ground gags. It is also a document of its time; we present it as such.

Reference books give both 1933 and 1935 for this title, usually because the series entries get mixed up. The print we hold carries a 1935 certificate, so that is the year on this page.

The scan we have is clean but missing the opening title; we reconstructed it from a still.
